Let me talk about the Blood Artist
He is quite literally that. But it is not his own blood that is used as I originally thought, but it is of the subject he is painting.
Hanging in the background is a woman suspended by her ankles, slowly being drained into a glass bowl for a future image. But what is he painting?
There are several other crystal containers scattered around the room, suggesting more bodies.
The perspective leads me to believe you are small, perhaps hidden, but still spotted.You are not small, hidden and spotted. You ARE the subject of the painting, lying on the table, and he is looking back for a fresh perspective before he continues his work. MAN.
